Nicole Kidman spent this evening in New York city at the premiere of her latest movie, Australia, which sees her starring alongside the ‘sexiest man in the world’, fellow Australian, Hugh Jackman. But earlier in the day Kidman made a stop off at the set of the David Letterman show, where her opening conversation with the show’s host centered around her statuesque appearance and her dislike of her height, which saw her being teased when she was in high school.

Nicole, who stands 5ft 10 1/2 inches tall, was know over the years to wear flat shoes while married to a 5ft 7inch Tom Cruise. But with her co star Jackman there’s no sign of flat shoes, as he towers above Nicole by 4 inches!

Nicole spent most of her interview, with Letterman, in fits of giggle as he proceeded with what seemed to be a rather inane line of interviewing with a stream of questions regarding Keith Urban‘s, (Kidman’s husband), musical career and eventually progressing to a discussion on the variations between US and Australian horse riding saddles.

Letterman seemed to be avoiding the movie plugs that Nicole so desperately wanted to discuss but eventually she managed to introduce a 30 second clip of the movie in which Kidman plays Lady Sarah Ashley, an English noblewoman who moves Down Under and experiences romance and adventure, as well as riding horses and hanging out in the heat.
