While Amy Winehouse recognizes the mess she has made of her life and the state of her health, and speaks quite eloquently about the situation with the Daily Mirror, she doesn’t appear to be very well equipped to make the changes required to put her life back on track.

Winehouse spoke about her goddaughter, Dionne Broomfield, who’s performance Amy all but ruined at the Prince’s Trust End of Summer Ball bash on Thursday, saying that in that 12 year old child she saw herself as she had been when setting out on the road to stardom.
Amy lamented, “Look where I am now. Look what happened to my dreams. This isn’t a life - I’m a mess, look at me. But this girl has everything ahead of her. She’s so beautiful and she reminds me so much of myself. This beautiful happy girl, she is so much like I used to be. I don’t want to leave her alone. I can’t believe what has happened to me. I am so sad.”
And true to form, following the bash Amy took a swipe at one of her fans when she requested a photo opportunity with her. She now faces police questioning following the incident.
Clearly Amy may talk of her sorrow at the state of her life but she has no intention of changing her attitude, her life style or her habits!
