Has Angelina Jolie been offered a ‘cut’ to promote the Richard N Hass book, War of Necessity: A memoir of Two Iraq Wars? It seems that although she’s been seen carrying the book around with her on the set of her latest movie Salt, it hardly shows any sign of having been opened, never mind thumbed through or read!

The 33 year old mother of six is staying at Manhattan’s Waldorf Astoria hotel and evidently has plenty of time on her hands if she intends to make her way through the political, part memoir, part history book which sets out to demonstrate how the USA can learn from the positive and the negative lessons learned from the two middle east wars of the past 2 decades.

Having said that, the tyres on a car often read ‘India’, but it doesn’t mean the driver is going there!
