The United Kingdom teeters on the edge of the worst recession since 1939, hundreds of British troops struggle on a daily basis in the searing cold of the Afghan mountains maintaining law and order in a country that would see Al Qaeda blow up our trains and planes, children are dying at the hands of ruthless parents and blindsided social workers and some idiot is starting a campaign against Queen Elizabeth II if she doesn’t dole out a Knighthood to good old Brucie in the New Years Honours list.

Yes, Bruce Forsythe may be a British institution and a popular TV host and at the grand old age of 80 he may be an obvious choice to be honored by the Queen, but taking the issue to the home of Prime Minister, Gordon Brown, where he was presented with a petition signed by 5,000 people, hardly puts it in the realms of earth shattering news.

Dr Blockbuster, the creator of the Facebook group known as, ‘Give Bruce Forsyth a Knighthood’, has stated, “This is nothing less than an outrage if it is true. The complaints about the voting on Strictly Come Dancing will pale into insignificance compared to the backlash there will be if Bruce Forsyth is not knighted this year. If Bruce Forsyth is not knighted, then this year, the Queen’s Christmas message may get a New Year reply from the country.”
