More than 40 years after the most famous group on the plant played their new style of music in the underground depths of The Cavern in Liverpool, the masters of music have been remastered……digitally.

The 14 titles overall from the catalogue of John Lennon, Paul McCartney, Ringo Starr and George Harrison doing what they did best, complete with coughs, laughter and dropped notes, has all been cleaned up in the new box set the Fab Four’s greatest hits including, Please Please Me, Let it Be and Love Me Do.

Even in death there is competition! Who attracted the largest TV audience, worldwide, Michael Jackson or The Princess of Wales, Diana? Who attracted the most respected celebrities and dignitaries from around the world, Michael or Diana?

Well, if one considers Mariah Carey’s tacky attempt at Jackson’s own 1970’s hit, ‘I’ll Be There’, failing to find those top notes that Jackson found with such ease, or Usher’s ghoulish touching of Jackson’s gold casket, (that we were led to believe was occupied by Jackson’s body), as any accolade to The King of Pop, then by comparison, Princess Diana wins hands down!

Its Red Nose Day in the United Kingdom this year on Friday March 13^th and by then noses wont be red from the chilling winter weather, but from the little red plastic clip on noses that have become the trade mark of the UK charity, Comic Relief.

Is Dancing with Stars turning into a show for physically challenged celebrities more than a show of skill on the dance floor?

In 2008 the amputee and ex-wife of The Beatles legend Paul McCartney, Heather Mills, competed on Dancing with the Stars, and to her credit, she carried the task off to a fairly high standard, at least until she took a tumble during a fancy turn and ended up on her rear end!

As the Channel 4 series, Star Stories continues to unceremoniously take the mickey out of celebrities, and wanna-be stars, it’s now turned its attention on the woman who went from porn star to court room drama queen as she took on Paul McCartney in the divorce courts.
