After seeing singer Rihanna just moments after leaving Chris Brown’s car, brandishing a black eye, cut lip and generally beaten up face, he thinks its fine to plead ‘not guilty’ to the charge of assault on his girlfriend.

Brown, who is accused of assaulting Rihanna during an argument in February in L.A. attended the court today, impeccably dressed, but keeping his hands in his trouser pockets as he looked straight ahead and blanked the dozens of journalists who had waited an hour for court to begin.

Can a wife give evidence against her husband in a court case? No! Well that’s a damn good reason for bully boy Chris Brown marrying the woman he beat to a pulp just there weeks ago.

As rumours fly that the Umbrella singer, Rihanna has consented to marry her attacker it raises the question, why now?

Although yet unsubstantiated, given the fact that Rihanna was stupid enough to even entertain the idea of speaking to the R&B thug, Brown, she quite possibly has forgiven him enough to seal the deal with a quick ‘I Do’.

Kanye West, in a recent recording for VHI’s ‘Storytellers’ made a few fairly controversial remarks concerning the domestic violence assault by Chris Brown on his girlfriend Rihanna and about Olympic swimming ace, Michael Phelps’ faux pas with a bong, in which he requested that people should, ‘Give Chris a break? I know I make mistakes in life.” As for Phelps’ marijuana scandal, Kanye stated, “Michael Phelps, amazing. He’s a real f—in’ person. He makes mistakes.”
