Christian Bale: A Real American Psycho!

bale.jpg The mild mannered, and law abiding character of Batman certainly hasn’t rubbed off on, Christian Bale, the actor who played the role of the caped crusader in the last Batman: The Dark Knight movie as once again he is heard throwing a tantrum.

Holy Lost Roles Batman! Bill Murray Lost Out to Michael Keaton!

When we think of Batman what style of actor springs to mind? Maybe someone like Johnny Depp, maybe Ashton Kutcher, but Bill Murray? Hardly! 

But that’s the latest Batman revelation from the Lost in Translation actor. 

We now accept Christian Bale as the Caped Crusader and we can still understand why the role went to Michael Keaton in 1989, when the Joker was played by Jack Nicholson, but Murray says that before Keaton was offered the role he was actually in the running himself.

No Joking: Heath Ledger Keeps Batman at the Top

Heath Ledger made a huge impact on the movie business while he was alive and well, but he could only have imagined how well his last movie would be received had he lived to see it.

Completing its fourth consecutive week at the top of the box office hits, The Dark Knight has grossed a total or $441.5 million.

This now places the Batman movie in third position in the all time best sellers coming second to Star Wars with $461 million and third to Leonardo DiCaprio’s Titanic with $601 million.
