Is Cher the latest celebrity victim of the housing crisis which is currently ripping its way through America and the United Kingdom?

The second half of the famous, Sonny and Cher duo, has placed her Californian mansion on the market at a cool $45 million, the equivalent of £22.5 million.

The expansive Renaissance style mansion has 6 bedrooms, seven bathrooms, a theater, a gym, tennis courts, swimming pool and several verandas on each level.
