This weekend will the wedding of Ellen DeGeneres and Portia De Rossi and the 50^th birthday of Madonna, but will anyone top all that with the announcement of a new celebrity baby.

We’re all waiting for what seems to be the longest pregnancies ever to produce the next multi million dollar photo shoot for OK! Or People magazine.

Prior to becoming involved with the TV talk show host, Ellen DeGeneres, Portia De Rossi was a celebrity in her own right. But her career seems to have takan a back seat in the past few months since she has lived in Ellen’s shadow.

Known previously as Nelle Porter on the hugely popular 1990’s TV show, Ally McBeal, which ran until 2002, Portia now appears to have a hankering to return to her life of comedy.

Kylie Minogue translated into English from Australian is ‘successful pop princess’ but the translation isn’t quite the same into American . In fact it spells ‘disaster’.

Move over Dr Doolittle and Steve Irwin, Paris Hilton is the new animal expert. Or so she thought when she spoke about her hoard of pets while being interviewed on the Ellen DeGeneres show on Monday.

The dumb blonde dog (lover) revealed that she has a collection of 17 pooches not realizing that under Californian law it’s illegal to have more than 3 dogs on a property that isn’t registered as a kennel or a breeder’s residents.
