For someone who lives in the United Kingdom, has almost perfected a ‘plum in mouth’ British accent and believes herself to be the Queen of something or other, isn’t Madonna the last person the American public should be listening to when it comes to politics?
While the aging singer was performing at Madison Square Garden this week she took it upon herself to lead her fans in an impromptu anti-Sarah Palin chant where, in not such an English lady-like manner she chanted, ‘I’m gonna kick her a** if she don’t get off of my street!’
Maybe Madonna could learn a read more ....

With his nomination speech going out live on the CNN screen in Times Square, New York, last night helped John McCain achieve a total of 38.9 million viewers nationwide, compared with Barack Obama’s audience the previous week of just 38.4.

McCain’s speech is now the most watched in convention history, 41% higher than George W Bush’s acceptance speech in 2004.

While Presidential hopefuls in the United States, Barack Obama and John McCain debate the big oil issue it would appear that the UK’s ‘King hopeful‘, has found the answer to the world’s oil crisis.

Prince Charles has had his DB6 Volante Aston Martin, normally a huge gas guzzler, converted to run on surplus plonk. It now runs on bioethanol extracted from local vineyards at a cost of £1.10 per litre. Maybe someone should tell Princey that the cost is much the same as gas (petrol) and harder to come by for the minions of the UK.
