While his ex wife, Mia Farrow, recovers from her 13 day hunger strike and fights for the starving victims of genocide in Darfur, along with Richard Branson and George Clooney, Woody Allen spends his time fighting for what he sees as justice as he was about to appear in court on Monday, fighting the American Apparel clothing company for using an image from his 1977 movie Annie Hall without his permission!

Its day five of Mia Farrow’s hunger strike in her bid to create more awareness to the plight of the people in the Sudan. She had promised to make a video blog on a daily basis, but as Friday draws to a close there doesn’t appear to be a blog forthcoming.

One can only assume that as time marches on Mia is finding it increasingly difficult to cope with the weakness brought about by hunger.

But rather than focusing on her own weakness from hunger, Mia wants her supporters to think of the children of Darfur who experience that read more ....

There’s a growing movement among celebrities to bring to the attention of the public,  the plight of the millions of innocent people suffering from starvation and displacement in Darfur and none more newsworthy than Mia Farrow embarking on a hunger strike.

Following on from George Clooney and his father, Nick Clooney, a veteran American journalist and broadcaster, who are both constantly raising awareness about the crisis in Sudan’s Darfur region, Mia has began a fast of water only in solidarity for the people of Darfur and is attempting to abstain from all food for three weeks.

Mia Farrow, best remembered for her role as Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby and Rosemary Woodhouse in Rosemary’s Baby, and later became better known for her child molestation case with ex husband Woody Allen has lost her adopted daughter, Lark.

Lark, one of three children adopted by Mia Farrow and her second husband musical conductor, Andre Previn, was the sister of the 22 year old Soon-Yi who ended Mia’s third marriage to script writer Woody Allen as they entered into a live in love affair in 1992.
