Another celebrity baby and another unusual celebrity baby name.

Ashlee Simpson has given birth to a baby boy today and in a similar way to Posh Spice and David Beckham, she has named the baby boy after one of New York’s boroughs, the Bronx. But after that it becomes even more peculiar when the child’s middle name is that of the little jungle boy who is raised by wolves in Rudyard Kipling’s Jungle Book, Mowgli!

Completing the name with Simpson’s husband’s name Wentz, the child will be Bronx Wentz! Strange!

With Angelina Jolie and Gwen Stefani’s latest births well in the past, we’re now awaiting the double birth of Lisa Marie Presley’s twins and Ashlee Simpson’s first child.

In a recent interview with Entertainment Tonight Canada, Ashlee gushed on the subject of her new husband, Fall Out Boy singer, Pete Wentz, 29, and the prospect of becoming a new mum.

When challenged on the question of the baby’s name, Ashlee joked about naming the child Orange. She then retracted the suggestion saying, “I don’t think it’s something we’ll decide until the baby comes.”
