Hot on the heels of George Michael’s final tour, comes the news that yet another 1980’s musical phenomenon, Duran Duran, are to step down from performing live, but not before they have delivered their own brand of 80’s retro along with late-night-lounge funk.
Simon Le Bon, Nick Rhodes, John Taylor and Roger Taylor have announced tour dates that take them from San Antonio, Texas, to Toronto Canada and ending at the Wellmont Theatre in Montclair, New Jersey.

At 63, Helen Mirren holds the enviable accolade of having beaten Pirates of the Caribbean star Keria Knightley and Simon Le Bon’s model wife, Yasmin Le Bon to an award at the Inspiration for Women ceremony in London last night.
But Helen’s choice of outfit for the event left her looking more like a member of the catering staff than a celebrity. The long black dress and jacket she had chosen was overshadowed by the lacey panel that hung from under the bust line on the dress, resembling an apron.
