The Big Girls Don’t Cry singer, Fergie and fellow Black Eyed Pease band member Will.I. Am are facing a copyright infringement lawsuit over one of Fergie’s songs from her latest solo album The Duchess.
The Northern California-based, nine-piece collective who’s music is reggae infused with elements of jazz and funk are suing for allegedly ripping off their song, stating that Voodoo Doll, co-written by Fergie and will.i.am, is “substantially and strikingly similar” to Waterfall, from Groundation’s album “Each One Teach One.”
