The Big Girls Don’t Cry singer, Fergie and fellow Black Eyed Pease band member Will.I. Am are facing a copyright infringement lawsuit over one of Fergie’s songs from her latest solo album The Duchess.

The Northern California-based, nine-piece collective who’s music is reggae infused with elements of jazz and funk are suing for allegedly ripping off their song, stating that Voodoo Doll, co-written by Fergie and will.i.am, is “substantially and strikingly similar” to Waterfall, from Groundation’s album “Each One Teach One.”

Paul McCartney: I Do Like Mondays!

Posted under Free for All UK & Heather Mills & Kelly Osbourne & The Beatles & Stella McCartney & Gwyneth Paltrow & John Lennon & yoko ono & kate bosworth & moby & kevin spacey & chris martin

PAUL AND FAMILY.jpg

Quite on the contrary to Bob Geldof’s 1979 hit song telling us, ‘I Don’t Like Monday’s’, Paul McCartney is suggesting that we all make Monday a day we show how much we love our planet, our animals and above all our health.

As Paul finds himself free from the shackles of his loveless marriage to Heather Mills and has now discovered a worthwhile and loving relationship with his new love Nancy Shevell, Paul appears once again to have found his mo-jo as he was caught enjoying the company of the women in his life who truly do love him, read more ....

The Beatles Get On Down With Digital Downloads!

Posted under Free for All UK & The Beatles & The Rolling Stones

 the beatles 1.jpg

They were music market leaders in their day and now they’re music market back markers with their reluctance to go digital, but even The Beatles have had to come screaming and kicking into the world of iTunes and the digital reproduction.

Joining the online revolution and having their original recordings remastered Britain’s Fab Four, until now, remained the most lucrative acts to hold out on making their music available on digital music stores for download. However, the Apple Corp and Apple, owner of iTunes, have been at loggerheads over the price of downloaded tracks for several years.

Its almost judgment day for the guy who insists his girlfriend put a gun in her own mouth and shot herself in his home in 2003.

That’s the charge that has been secured against Phil Spector, whether he is guilty of second-degree murder in the death of actress Lana Clarkson or whether she committed suicide.

RED NOSE DAY IN THE UK.jpg

Its Red Nose Day in the United Kingdom this year on Friday March 13th and by then noses wont be red from the chilling winter weather, but from the little red plastic clip on noses that have become the trade mark of the UK charity, Comic Relief.

But this year there’s something a little more fashionable about wearing your red nose, with the introduction of Stella McCartney’s T shirts which feature black and white images of the 1970’s comedy duo, Morecambe & Wise, a cute rabbit and The Beatles, including Stella’s dad, Sir Paul McCartney, sporting cheeky red read more ....

Is Dancing with Stars turning into a show for physically challenged celebrities more than a show of skill on the dance floor?

In 2008 the amputee and ex-wife of The Beatles legend Paul McCartney, Heather Mills, competed on Dancing with the Stars, and to her credit, she carried the task off to a fairly high standard, at least until she took a tumble during a fancy turn and ended up on her rear end!

Now, the 2009 series is set to see the legally blind contestant, Stevie Wonder competing on DWTS.

Comedy Imitating Life? Heather Mills

Posted under Free for All UK & Paul McCartney & Heather Mills & The Beatles & Stella McCartney

As the Channel 4 series, Star Stories continues to unceremoniously take the mickey out of celebrities, and wanna-be stars, it’s now turned its attention on the woman who went from porn star to court room drama queen as she took on Paul McCartney in the divorce courts.

Heather Mills is this weeks butt of the comedy series’ jokes as Dolly Wells pokes fun at the relationship between Paul’s’ daughter, Stella McCartney and Mills and how she waved her prosthetic leg on American TV.

The sketch shows Mill’s earlier career as a porn star and concludes with the moment Mills read more ....

Killer Behind Bars: John Lennon’s Killer, No Parole!

Posted under Free for All UK & The Beatles & John Lennon & yoko ono

Mark Chapman didn’t just commit a cold blooded, pre meditated murder of one of the world’s best loved and best known musicians, he left Yoko Ono a widow, robbed Lennon’s son Sean of his father and left many grieving and future generations without the luxury of knowing John Lennon, other than through the legacy of the music he left behind.

The convicted killer has applied for parole five times since 2000 and each time he has been refused and yesterday was no exception.

At his first parole hearing Lennon’s widow, Yoko Ono, wrote a letter to the board and read more ....

Ringo Starr: Give Peace a Chance, Again!!!

Posted under Free for All UK & The Beatles & Ringo Starr & John Lennon & Larry King

ringo peace and love.jpg

While it’s a really nice gesture, we think it’s been done before by a member of The Beatles, John Lennon, and maybe if you’d done it when you were a little younger, Ringo, you may have reached more people than the inner city population of Chicago and viewers of the Larry King show.

But none the less, Ringo Starr, the former Beatles’s drummer passes out birthday muffins Monday outside the Hard Rock Hotel in downtown Chicago as he celebrated his 68th birthday by asking everyone around the world to flash a peace sign at noon local time.
