Mamma Mia Makes Meryl Streep High!

Are the Brits easily entertained? Do the Brits consider ABBA as their own? Is the economy so bad that escapism is rife?


These can be the only reasons for this summer’s blockbuster movie Mamma Mia being heralded as the UK’s largest grossing movie of all time. Yes, the sickly sweet, predictable story line of the movie based on the Broadway hit musical Mamma Mia has only marginally missed outselling Leonardo DiCaprio and Kate Winslet’s Titanic, to date but is destined to outsell it at the box office in the next few weeks.

Jennifer Aniston Sees Red Over Pink!

Pink is definitely not Jennifer Aniston’s favourite colour right now since the So What singer labeled Jennifer. ‘stupid’ during a row with Jen’s man John Mayer.

 

Although it was John who suggested that he, ‘only sh**s stupid women’ to which Pink replied, ‘I guess they’d have to be’, it is Pink who has incurred the wrath of 39 year old Aniston.

After feeling insulted by Pink’s remarks, Jen has issued a Hollywood style ‘fatwa’ on the singer forbidding her friends to have anything to do with her.

Will Victoria Beckham Be a Let Down in Undies?

Giorgio Armani certainly surpassed himself with his last ad campaign when he utilized the services of soccer ace and sex symbol David Beckham, but what on earth is he thinking signing up Golden Ball’s wife, ex Spice Girl Victoria Beckham as the new body of Emporio Armani Women’s Underwear.

Posh has neither the body, the face and certainly not the normal long flowing hair seen on most underwear models.

James Bond Leaves Olga Kurylenko Out In The Cold!

Tonight saw the London premier of the latest James Bond movie, Quantum of Solace, and although temperatures must have felt as low as .007 the stars, their wives and girlfriends were out in full force braving the elements.

 

The main man, Daniel Craig was in attendance, still nursing his damaged arm but cutting a dashing figure in a black suit complete with his little red poppy. Standing close to her man was Craig’s girlfriend, Satsuki Mitchell, who certainly didn’t steal any of Bond’s thunder in her rather understated, and somewhat boring deep purple evening gown.

Barack Obama Holds up an American Win!

In England, every four years we (most times) play football in a tournament known as the ‘World Cup’, and who do we come up against in that WORLD CUP? Brazil, Germany, France, Italy, Spain, Cameroon, Argentina, Belgium, China, Croatia, Denmark, Costa Rica, Ecuador, Ireland, Japan, Korea Republic, Mexico, Nigeria, Paraguay, Nigeria, Poland, Portugal, Russia, Saudi Arabia, Senegal, Slovenia, South Africa, Sweden, Tunisia, Turkey, Uruguay and we even let the USA in. Yes, pretty much, THE WORLD!

 

And if and when we win, we know we have won The World Cup and beaten every other team in the read more ....

Cant Dance, Cant Make Me! Prince Charles Disses a Robot???

While on a Royal visit to China, Prince Charles has come face to face with a gyrating disco-dancing robot during a museum visit in Tokyo.
But the less the than jovial Prince, who is in the middle of a four day jaunt that coincides with the 150th anniversary of diplomatic relations with Britain and Japan, didn’t help relations  when he appeared to dismiss the advances of the friendly robot.

Following Kylie’s public announcement that she was battling breast cancer in 2005, a rise in screening tests has become visible in women under 40 years of age.

Barack Obama Assassination Attempt Foiled…..Again!
