The British born actress, who now considers herself Australian, has been involved in a fender bender while driving on Hollywood’s La Brea Avenue, as her black Ford Prius was in collision with an SUV Explorer.

Actress, Monk, was visibly shaken as she was helped clear of the wreckage by paramedics who were immediately called to the scene along with fire fighters. Monk was taken to a local hospital by ambulance.

Following the accident both vehicles involved in the crash were towed away.
