With the news that the dizzy blonde hotel heiress, Paris Hilton, was the woman who ignited the fight between Chris Brown and the Barbados born singer Rihanna on Sunday night, one can be certain that everyone will be jumping in and blaming the ex girlfriend of Benji Madden.

So Paris likes to flirt! But wait! If Brown and Rihanna’s relationship was that strong, could an innocent night of flirting at the pre-Grammy party really influence Brown’s aggressive outburst and attack on his 20 year old girlfriend?

Also consider the fact that Brown is alleged to have hit the Umbrella singer in the past!

A party goer reported that Paris was ’all over’ Brown, but can someone really be ’all over’ another person without a certain amount of encouragement?

According to other guests at the Timbaland pre-Grammy get together, Brown was also seen in the company of last year’s UK X Factor winner, Leona Lewis which is also said to have come to the attention of Rihanna.

Yet another source at the police department revealed that the altercation began when Brown received a text message from a woman while he and Rihanna were sat in his rented Lamborghini in an up market neighbourhood in Los Angeles.

After Rihanna made a grab for the car keys and threw them away from the vehicle, Brown, 30, is alleged to have made an attempt to strangle his girlfriend telling her, ‘I’m going to kill you’.

One would have to ask the question, how did ‘the other woman’ get Brown’s cell phone number in the beginning?

So don’t be too quick to judge Miss Hilton. It was a party, a fun time, award season, and a lot of young celebs enjoying a night out.
