Posted under Free for All UK & George Michael & Andrew Ridgley & Michael Jackson
Following the death of Michael Jackson earlier this year and the obvious signs of his demise, due to drug abuse, it could be time, once again for someone to sit up and take notice of yet another superstar, George Michael, as he too has become the victim of drug abuse and strange beahviour.
Since his days with musical partner, Andrew Ridgley, the creative talent of George Michael has met with many hurdles, some self inflicted, some totally out of his control, such as his battle with record company Sony when he refused to promote his album, Listen Without Prejudice. Then, when in 1991, Michael met and fell in love with Brazilian born musician, Anselmo Feleppa only to discover shortly after they got together, that Feleppa had Aids. Michael then spent the next four years nursing his boyfriend until his death.

His next mistake was when he made enemies with his political views which he made clear in his anti Bush-Blair song, Shoot the Dog, and his Lets Go Outside hit relating to the police officer who arrested him when he was caught in a public toilet in Los Angeles, which was the first time George was outed as a homosexual
George’s obsessive need to cruise well known public areas where gay men were known to congregate finally pushed his boyfriend, and future ‘husband’ to walk out on the relationship leaving the Careless Whisper singer devastated.

Kenny Goss, 50, has been George’s constant companion for the past 13 years and the two were due to have married in 2006, on the couple’s 10th anniversary of being together, but realizing that 46 year old George was still attempting to pick up other men, Kenny called the ceremony off.
At that point George promised that his philandering days were over and he promised to commit himself to the one relationship. But once again, last year, the former WHAM! singer was arrested on Hamstead Heath, a well known haunt for gay men, and was charged with possession of drugs.
Mr Goss had given George too may chance and could see no change in the singer’s beahviour and walked out on him at Christmas.
George attempted to keep the break up a secret but since then his life has gradually spun out of control, to the extent that he arrived at a Beyonce concert at the O2 Arena in London, and went on stage, unannounced to duet with the American singer and when challenged by his manager, Andy Stephens, he sacked him.

Now the one time multimillion pound earning star seems to be a broken man, spending his days in his flat playing computer games and smoking cannabis.
The warning signs are there for all to see, perhaps this time someone will help this talented man overcome his demons and his determination to destroy both himself and his career, before we’re all left to mourn the loss of yet another musical talent!
