John Mayer who‘s he? That would seem to be the attitude of The Baster star, Jennifer Aniston as she continues with her very successful acting career following her recent break up with Mayer.

But Jennifer can hardly be blamed for forgetting her old squeeze so quickly when she’s playing opposite a hunk like British actor Gerard Butler, as the two work on two back-to-back films. Jennifer, known for giving mayer a second chance following thier initial breakup last year, is set to give Butler another go round!

But, if rumours are to be believed, the Friends star should be just as careful about giving her heart to the Scottish confirmed bachelor and star of  The Untouchables: Capone Rising as she should have been about falling for musician Mayer.

Jennifer first struck up a friendship with Butler after meeting him at last year’s Toronto film festival. At that time the Marley and Me actress was recovering from the first breakup from Mayer but consequently returned to him never having had a chance to pursue Butler.

But now Jen is reported to be excited at having the opportunity to embark on a more meaningful relationship with her co-star, although his vocabulary, on all accounts, doesn’t contain the word, ‘committed’.

Being as unlucky in love as Jennifer has been over the past 4 years, with husband Brad Pitt leaving her for Angelina Jolie, rumoured romances with Vince Vaughn and Owen Wilson and now Mayer, all becoming ‘exes’, lets hope she reads the signs and heeds the advice of others this time before giving her heart too quickly!
