Jennifer Aniston puts a smile on Brad’s face!

Was it a conscience, fear of a public humiliation or was it the usual plain outright calculating nature of Angelina Jolie, the ’new’ woman in Brad Pitts life, when she decided to be a bow out of the pre-Oscar party on Sunday?

All three celebrities in the Jolie-Pitt-Ansiton saga were due to attend the party but in her own expert conniving way, Jolie, managed to wriggle out of the event by turning up at the Independent Spirit Awards instead.

Where’s Brad’s smile these days?

After breaking up the happy marriage of Pitt and Jennifer Aniston, while on the set of Mr and Mrs Smith, Jolie has never had the experience of being in the same room as Jennifer and maybe she just wasn’t ready for a showdown with the scorned ex-wife after hearing about the freeze she’d put on Brad’s best friend, George Clooney earlier in the day.

Obviously Jen still holds a grudge against Clooney believing he must have known that Pitt and Jolie had embarked on an affair behind her back.
