Silver Cross, the pram of choice of the British Royal Family, and in particular Queen Elizabeth II, who was happy to push the future King of England around the grounds of Buckingham Palace in his, is being sued by none other than Jenny form the block, Jennifer Lopez.

You’re going to make us rich, kids!
Yes, the Bronx born singer and her husband, Marc Anthony, who continue to use their birth of their twins as a money making machine, have filed a law suit against what is probably the most prestigious baby carriage company in the world, claiming the company used a photograph of the couple pushing the pram in a promotional ad for the Silver Cross stroller. (that’s American for baby buggy!)

The couple who evidently like to scam just about anyone they can for as much money as they can are suing to the tune of $5 million. After pimping out their new born twins last year for $6 million Lopez and husband have launched an attack on Silver Cross Ltd for a web commercial that stated, “Jennifer Lopez will be the envy of Long Island when she’s out and about with their new baby twins, thanks to two beautiful Onyx Black Silver Cross Balmoral prams she has taken for the pair,”
Following a cease and desist notice issued to the company in April last year, Lopez has now had her attorney’s continue with the attack stating, “Lopez and Anthony have invested considerable time, money and energy in the development of their respective prominence and prestige in the public eye. The Defendants have sought to illegally capitalize on plaintiffs’ hard work.” The suit claims, “Silver Cross intentionally deceived the public into believing that Lopez and Anthony endorse and sponsor its products. In doing so, Silver Cross sought to associate their products with the reputations, goodwill and glamour of Lopez and Anthony, as well as Lopez’s world-famous brand of apparel, cosmetics and fragrances.”

Silver Cross, who have been making prams since 1877, are strongly associated with the British Royal Family and the likes of Lopez and Anthony should feel nothing but pride at being linked to such a prestigious UK company and its association with Queen Elizabeth II and her children.

Maybe Lopez should worry more about having a husband who wears a pink cardi!!!!
