Remember the days when the, over the top, raunchy, provocative Like a Virgin girl, Madonna, gained worldwide exposure with her sexy moves, remarks and actions?

Well gone are the days! Now a days Madonna resorts to video material as a back drop to her Sticky and Sweet tour which suggests that Senator John McCain bares a similarity to Adolph Hitler and Robert Mugabe then drew a comparison between Barack Obama and Mahatma Gandhi, John Lennon and Al Gore.

And where does she show off her deeply political opinion? In the valleys of Wales, United Kingdom! At the Millennium Stadium in Cardiff, Madonna brought her political opinions to her show and to the people of Wales who greeted it with less than flattering comments.

One observer commented, ‘I guess where she lacks in actually being able to sing she needs to make up for it in other areas just so that people still talk about her. I don’t really care where she stands politically.’

Another was equally scathing of the singer’s use of political opinion during a concert for which tickets had sold for hundreds of pounds, saying, ‘. I am sure Obumma deserves her and the Kennedy Clan (remember Joe Kennedy trying to run down Britain in WW 2 before he was sacked as Ambassador!) And, another simply stated, ‘Disappointed in Madonna….that’s all I’ll say.’

Guess Wales isn’t exactly the hot bed of American political opinion or interest in the 2008 US Presidential elections that Madonna thought it would be.
