Mia Farrow, best remembered for her role as Daisy Buchanan in The Great Gatsby and Rosemary Woodhouse in Rosemary’s Baby, and later became better known for her child molestation case with ex husband Woody Allen has lost her adopted daughter, Lark.

Lark, one of three children adopted by Mia Farrow and her second husband musical conductor, Andre Previn, was the sister of the 22 year old Soon-Yi who ended Mia’s third marriage to script writer Woody Allen as they entered into a live in love affair in 1992. The bitter custody battle that followed featured accusations by Farrow that Allen had sexually abused adopted daughter Dylan, 7. Allen was exonerated of the abuse charges.

Lark went on to live a fairly anonymous life in New York City with her own family where her life eventually ended on Christmas Day.

Local residents at the apartment where Lark lived could not believe they had been living alongside the daughter of Farrow and Previn. A resident at the Clinton Hill apartment block told reporters, ‘She was somewhat reclusive and never mentioned her mother Mia Farrow was a celebrity. We never knew. She never let on. She was a mystery.”

Lark had become very thin and had lost most of her hair in the past months.

A cause of death was not released.

Lark was born in 1973 in Vietnam and adopted by Mia along with two other children.

Mia’s first marriage was to 50’s brat pack member, Frank Sinatra.
