Sounding somewhat cryptic, Miley Cyrus, 17, told the audience at one of her Los Angeles concerts, that, “Life imitates art,” in response to rumours that she, and her Aussie co-star, Liam Hemsworth, were in fact an item!

Along with Miley’s denials, Liam, it seems also in denial when he attended a dinner for Foxtel TV in Sydney, Australia, and was asked if he and Miley are a couple. After pausing and thinking about it for several seconds, he then said: “We just made a movie together. That’s it.”

The Hannah Montana star and Hemsworth have been starring in the Disney movie, The Last Song, based on the book by Nicholas Sparks, which sees the pair in, on-screen clinches and kissing scenes, but their affections have not been confided to the movie set, when they were pictured kissing goodbye at Nashville airport.

Last week, Liam, 19, was spotted at one of Miley’s concerts, during which shots of the two of them from the film appeared on screens.
