After making her way to the Hollywood A-List, British darling of the big screen Keira Knightley does nothing but bemoan her fate at the hands of the paparazzi and one ex-tabloid editor is pulling her up about it.

Piers Morgan has criticised Keira Knightley for complaining about media intrusion. Morgan says, ‘She moans about being famous and then does endless photo sessions. You can’t use the media to promote yourself and then attack them!nMost people would change their lives in a flash to have a tenth of what people like her have.’

The Atonement actress has said of her fame: “Of course I want my films, my work and my career to be the focus. I don’t really understand any of the interest into the other side of it. Maybe that’s my fault.’

Knightley is of the opinion that actresses are more sought after than actors. Then went on to say, ‘ I’m not in the media, I don’t know why that is’.

Maybe that’s because actresses, in the early days of their careers, often promote themselves, with slightly less than modest articles in FHM and similar magaines in order to create media a frenzy. Ring any bells Keira?
