Commenting on Victoria Beckham’s venture into the world of fashion and design is about as meaningful as remaking on her singing career, her modeling career and just about anything else the wife of football star David Beckham becomes involved in. It doesn’t exist. It’s a myth that everyone bought into, so when we hear that the luxury New York department store, Saks on 5th have dropped Beckham’s line of jeans, it’s really neither here nor there.
Because the former Spice Girl believes here own hype, she has run away with the idea that her jeans should carry a $300 price tag, which in anyone’s estimation is absolutely ridiculous given that she has never had a day on a fashion course and probably doesn’t even know what HB stands for on the end of a pencil!
The up market store, Saks, evidently has extremely discerning customers who have decided that Vicky’s jeans aren’t worth the price tag and sales have been lower than expected. Along with the cheap Chinese imported denim used in the over priced creations, Posh also incurred the wrath of the executives at Saks when she offered her line of dresses exclusively to the completion on 5th Avenue, Bergdorf Goodman and to a selection of Neiman Marcus branches.

A source told the Daily Mail, ‘Nobody wanted to buy $300 jeans from someone who is not a trained designer.’ Last summer, U.S. stores Kitson and Fred Segal were forced to heavily discount jeans from the DVB collection after they failed to fly off the shelves as had been expected.
DVB jeans were found for sale in bargain basement superstores including Loemanns for as little as $69.99, (£48.50) and that’s over priced too!
