As if former Charlie’s Angel, Farrah Fawcett doesn’t have enough to contend with in her battle with cancer, she is now caught up in the middle of a family debacle which saw her former husband, Ryan ONeal and their son, Redmond being arrested for possession of drugs.

While Farrah slept in Ryan’s house, the police called for a probation check on Redmond and found methamphetamine on the 23-year-old and a vile of the substance in O’Neal’s room.
 

The two men were arrested and after posting bail late Wednesday afternoon were released from detention.

A source close to the family told Access Hollywood the drugs found in ONeal’s room were not ONeal’s, information the lawyer’s actor also told the Associated Press.
“The drugs found were not his,” attorney Mark Werksman told the AP. “He would never use them.”
But, given that in June, Redmond pleaded guilty to possession and a misdemeanor DUI charge, which saw him avoiding jail and receiving three years probation and that he was previously placed on probation in 2005, after another arrest related to methamphetamine and cocaine possession charges, it wouldn’t be totally without foundation to assume the drugs were Redmond’s, would it?
